    10. What are the differences between F U E and F U H T Hair transplants?

Answer is quite simple these days, there was a time when Surgeons could just fetch 1200 to 1500 follicles by a F U E Method as compared to 5500 to 6000 follicles in a F U H T Procedure, but with the passing of 6 to 8 years now even with a F U E Method Procedure surgeons are taking out 4500 to 5000 follicles with a bit of effort , the reason this improvement is this , that now better training facilities are available, instruments are being improved day by day, better loops ( Magnification) is available , lights used now a days are white light, besides this:-
***Beard and chest hair can be only be used in F.U.E. procedure. BODY HAIR TRANSPLANT IS ONLY POSSIBLE THROUGH F.U.E. PROCEDURE.***
(1). There is dot like scarring in F U E Procedures. Ask your surgeon – if he is well versed in using Micropunches.
(2).There is minimal pain after a F U E Procedure on the following days.
(3).There are no stitches on the back of your scalp, in F U H T Procedures the stitches may be Horizontal (One Single) or Two Oblique for larger grafts need.
(4). No numbness of the back scalp as a result of sectioning of nerves there , it may take 3 months to 12 months to recoup.
(5).There is no feeling of stretching and tightening of the back of the scalp.
(6). Follicles lost due to transaction in F U E Procedure are left in the patient’s skin >> they grow up after 3 months, while follicles transected by Para Medical workers in F U H T Procedures are just to be thrown away ,I;e, it’s a permanent loss.
(7). Need of Post Operative Medication with Antibiotics and anti inflammatory Medicines is much less in F U E Procedures.
(8).Hair transplant surgeon has to depend a lot on the paramedical staff in F. U. H. T. procedure, while in F.U.E. procedure the result is dependent on surgeon’s efficiency.

    11. What is scarring comparision between FUHT and FUE procedure?

In FUHT procedures a very fine horizontal or oblique scar lines may be noticed if a person who has gone Bald due to any reason after a Hair Transplant, it is less likely until and unless someone sees you too attentively. Usually lines after first procedures are neglible.

In FUE procedures there are virtually dot like scar marks, just very tiny white dots of the punch entry are seen , which are almost un identifiable to a naked eye. But I will again mention that, choosing the type of procedure should be , more than to comparison of scars only.

    12. How much pain one have to bear for a hair transplant?

The Procedure of a Hair Transplant is usually or invariably done by using local anesthesia ,i.e.; only the part the doctor is working upon is De sensitized or given local injections to produce numbness in the part , where the Surgeon has to work, thus practically speaking there is no pain when the Surgeon is actually working on a patient’s scalp, even the pain of pricks of needle could be minimized to great extent by locally spraying of Lignocaine Sprays and to assist more one can use Electrophoresis with it, kindly ask your surgeon weather he has that or not.

    13. What are the precautions to be taken after a hair transplant procedure?

Usual precautions for a Hair Transplant Procedures are very easy and comfortable in case you move according to the advise of your Surgeon and your Surgeon is well experienced. You need to wash your scalp with Medicated Shampoos the night before you are going for the transplant and than again on the morning, before you are going for the procedure, Take a heavy Breakfast before you move out of your hotel or home, as the Lignocaine used for the purpose of local anesthesia may sometimes cause mild hypoglycemia, weather to prescribe an Anti biotic or an Anti fungal depends on your Surgeon as he is the one to judge it by taking a relevant history from you. You may be advised not to take a head bath for next 36 to 48 hours depending on your condition , you may be asked not go under a shower bulb or use a mug to pour water over the head, not to rub the towel instead gently press the area to dry. Cm are said to be a GOOD WORK. 45 to 35 hair per Sq.Cm. are an example of SATISFACTORY WORK, 35 to 30 grafts per Sq Cm. Are just Average and a pre Sq Cm.
